I'm back!

Image
Hi everyone, I'm currently updating my blog. It's been far too long! I really do miss blogging, but it's just been a crazy year. I'm back though and I will be here more often. :) For now, I will leave you with a quick update on new releases since last time I was here. The Vampires are back!  You know... the non-sparkling ones. v--v Venom , the first novel in the Imprinted Souls Series spin-off, featuring Nicholas, Harvey, and Sarah, is now available. So if you missed my favorite sarcastic vamp, you won't want to miss this! Synopsis: Things have always been complicated for Sarah. She was one of the few forbidden vampires who were turned as a child. She was a vampire for over 300 years, until the day she was given angel blood. She is now mortal, but her life is far from normal. Sarah lives with two vampires: Harvey, and her brother Nicholas. Together, they do what they can to keep her hidden from their kind. But between her desire to live a normal human...

Hi everyone! I can't believe it's been 3 years since my first book was published and I have a huge celebration planned!  First, I want to thank all of my awesome readers for the support and for following me from vampires, to fallen angels, to mermaids... and now... back to vampires! I mentioned a while back that Imprinted Souls would have a spin-off series, and guess what I have for you today?  THE COVER for VENOM (Reawakening Series - Imprinted Souls' spin-off)!!! Venom will be released early 2014 and will be a new adult series. ;) I also want to thank authors Devyn Dawson, Crystal Cattabriga, and Tressa Messenger for their donations to the Imprinted Souls Bookversary Giveaway.  If you haven't already checked out their books, they are awesome!  I hope you love the Venom cover as much as I do, and no... the model on the cover is not the actor who you are thinking about. :(  I wish! Thanks again for being such awesome readers and Happy...

Blingee Addiction - Contest

Image
Yesterday, I ran into this website called Blingee.com .  I don't even remember how I got there, but once I did, I couldn't leave. If you are not familiar with the website, you can use it to combine images (uploaded by you or from the website itself) and add quotes & other things to them.  Once you find your way around the website, it is pretty easy and they also have videos showing how to 'make a blingee'. I had so much fun with the website that I decided to make a contest out of it! Make a Blingee inspired by any of my book series:  Mermaid's Curse, Imprinted Souls, or Academy of the Fallen and you will be entered to win a signed copy of any of my books (paperback - winner's choice). Blingees must be shared on any of my Facebook pages or Twitter (@ DaniLanzarotta ) to make sure I see it. I will be accepting entries until April 15th. Have fun! :)

Imprinted Souls - The Missing Journals - Tyler: Lexi's Choice - Part I

Image
Hi everyone, Sorry it took so long to post this.  I've been working on Sins of the Fallen during my official writing times.  I do miss the imprinted souls characters terribly and I'm so glad I get to write these bonus chapters.  I hope you are enjoying them! Here is my writing song for this one: Imprinted Souls - The Missing Journals      Lexi’s Choice – Tyler’s POV – Part I I was at Travis’ house for what felt like an eternity.   I just sat there, staring at the box that I had given Lexi, as I waited for her text.   I wasn’t sure what she was up to, but our deal was that if this plan of hers didn’t work, I would be going after Loren.   Her text never came. Travis felt the tension in the room and claimed that he had errands to run.   Eventually, Adrianne came back to pick me up so that we could go after Loren.   I hesitated in leaving before I heard from Lexi, but I knew that the sooner we were don...

Imprinted Souls - The Missing Journals - Nicholas: Lexi's Choice

Image
Hi Everyone! Today is Imprinted Souls' bookversary, and to celebrate it, here is the first entry for the Imprinted Souls' Missing Journals.  This takes place after Blood Bound and before Shattered Souls, so there are spoilers...  Happy Reading!   Daniele The writing song: Imprinted Souls - The Missing Journals Lexi’s Choice Nicholas I was in pain, a lot of pain.  The specks of silver that Adrianne threw on me were already in my skin, and I could slowly feel the silver spreading through my blood stream.  I can’t say that fear of my being destroyed ever crossed my mind.  I lived for longer than anyone was ever intended to, but I was afraid for her.  I was afraid that with me gone, she would be left defenseless, because let’s face it, Tyler was useless, especially when it came to confronting his maker.  He would never be able to defeat Loren, which meant that he would never be able to protect Lexi.   “How lon...

Must vampires be blamed for all evil?

A friend texted me the other day to say that she was watching the news and they were saying that thanks to TV series and books like True Blood and Twilight, they are seeing an increase in occult-related crimes… REALLY?! Honestly, at first I was trying to imagine how they got to that conclusion, I couldn’t help but to image them interviewing people who got arrested lately and asking, “So, what books or movies have you been into lately?” or “Hey, weren’t you wearing a coat like Edward Cullen’s when you were picked up?” * shakes head * Just for how long should one blame video games, TV shows, and now, novels, before getting to the bottom line of the problem... parents needing to be parents! As far as the news go... I wish they would devote a couple of minutes everyday to focus on good news, and there are plenty of those coming from some of our favorite vampires , and vampire related books and movies. Many authors and actors have been helping on blood drives, charities...
