I know that Halloween is not technically a holiday, but I still consider it one.  Not just that... Halloween is my second favorite 'holiday'.  Needless to say, I was looking forward to October and this month is turning out to be even better than I expected! The month started out with my first visit to Busch Garden's Howl-O-Scream.  It was all fine and fun while daylight was out.  I even made a few jokes by calling a werewolf Jacob.  Then it started to get dark outside and the clowns were out.  I'm good with werewolves, vampires, zombies, ghosts, but clowns... Hi everyone! This past weekend (April 20-22), I had the opportunity to attend the Blood on the Beach Convention in Virginia Beach, along with authors Michelle Johnson, Rue Elliott, and John Koehler. This convention turned out to be one of the best events I've attended so far.  The costumes were great!  It was fun chatting with new people, and of course that seeing Norman Reedus and Jeremy London was pretty awesome! Here are the highlights of the weekend: I was excited about this event from the moment I heard the words 'Lost Boys cast'.  It was fun seeing Edward Herrmann and other cast members.  It also made me think of Corey Haim.  I loved him in all of his movies!  It's still sad to think about what happened to him... Here it is!  The synopsis for Shattered Souls - the final Imprinted Souls novel!  It has been thirty years since Lexi made her choice.   With time, many things have changed, but others… never will. As her past comes back to haunt her, one vampire is destroyed, and Lexi is the one blamed for his true death.   She is now being hunted by her own kind, and as much as Nicholas tries to protect her on his own, that is not enough.   He needs help, and he values her far too much to ask for help from just anyone. They encounter ghosts of their pasts, face their worst fears, and above all, heartbreaks strong enough to shatter souls beyond repair.

Hi everyone! I know that I neglect my blog from time to time, and that is usually because I’m writing. :) Right now, I’m working on Nephilim, the second book in the Academy of the Fallen series, and I told myself that I would finish Nephilim before I start working on the final novel in the Imprinted Souls Series, Shattered Souls. Well… today, my plan failed. *laughs* I was on my way to the post office to mail bookmarks, when I was hit by a wave of inspiration. At first, I tried to write down those ideas whenever I stopped at a red light, only they were not long enough, and it was just getting on my nerves. *hate when that happens* Finally, I got to the post office, parked Cam (aka my car), and ended up writing the final chapter of the series.
